RealCold & HPI Realty: Grand Opening of Lockhart Cold Storage Facility

In May 2025, RealCold and HPI Realty celebrated the grand opening of a 312,000-square-foot cold storage facility in Lockhart, Texas, marking RealCold’s first ground-up development and a major milestone in its national expansion.

The event featured a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony with speeches from Lockhart Mayor Lew White and representatives from the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce, highlighting the facility’s anticipated impact on regional logistics and job creation.

Attendees toured the state-of-the-art facility, designed to support a wide range of temperature-controlled logistics needs. The celebration concluded with a Texas-style BBQ lunch catered by the legendary Black’s Barbecue, adding a local flavor to the festivities.
